Finally looking like we might have an NBA season and on time.
According to a new report, Derrick Fisher has texted the players to be in shape and ready togo on time for the season. He's is basically telling everyone to be ready to play.
If that's not a good sign, then I don't know what is..

Breaking story linked in new article below:

Report: Fisher sent players text saying to be physically ready for season | ProBasketballTalk

I don't know about you, but I feel more hopeful that things will be resolved then I have all summer long....
Truely good news finally..:yeah:
:bullbang:

One thing though, if the owners don't agree to new proposals on Tuesday, it could change back to sadness.
But the confidence Fisher is having sending those texts might mean he feels good about it...Its basically on the owners.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope they don't be assholes...Everyone loses if this crap continues on..Get it done!!!

Good news, but we need to wait when players and owners will finally sign a new contract. Then we can start to celebrate !!!!

I know your right, but it does look more hopeful than before....
I just don't understand why the owners or players would want to carry it on further.
Especially with the NBA's popularity back on track.
Why lose more money and popularity?
It took more than a decade to reach the point they did last season.:smoke:

Yeah, last season was exciting, ratings was also high, they earned a lot of money... More fans, more popularity... I hope all teams will remain in the league and they will be more balanced next year. Last year there was only 7-8 quality teams.

Yeah I always felt the season would start on time. I think by the end of next week there would be some type of proposal made. But they would probably keep it on the low.

That isn't a positive sign. The players needs to stay in shape to retain the little leverage that they have in these negotiations.

I don't think they will get it done in time which is a shame since that was the most followed season I can remember recently

^ Same as here, I have never followed the Bulls so closely like last year and the fact that it went into a lockout was pretty depressing for me. At least I got my D. Rose jersey!!!

If this thing doesn't end, we could all get together and start a new sport..

I have constructed a diagram showing how the court will look like.

Here are my sleek plans for future stadiums.
