My favorite teams
The last two serious rivals to the already-established MLB, NBA, NFL, or NHL were the American Football League and the World Hockey Association (XFL and UFL excluded), and isn't it odd that one of these leagues have returned int eh form of a new league?
The American Football League has declared itself Major and is starting in the 2011-2012 season with 16 teams in 4 divisions;
Eastern Division: Miami Stingrays, New York Ironmen, Providence Steamrollers (name of a 1920's or 1930's NFL team IIRC), and Washington Admirals.
Central Division: Chicago Bruisers, Columbus Hornets, Milwaukee Machine, and St. Louis Hawks.
Southern Division: Birmingham Yellowhammers, Louisville Tanks, Memphis Blues, New Orleans Specters
Western Division: Dallas Marshals, Los Angeles Rhinos, Oklahoma Marauders, and Utah Mustangs.

Uniforms aren't bad, but I'm waiting for info.
Additionally, a new Pro Spring Football League has been founded. It is called the Stars Football League, but won't have a Chicago team for it;s inaugural season. The SFL will have 6 teams; Michigan Coyotes, Mobile Gladiators, Fort Lauderdale Barracudas, New Orleans Jazz, Little Rock Ironmen, and Dayton Beach Racers.
What are your thoughts on the Chicago Bruisers and the American Football League, and to a lesser extent, the Stars Football League?
