Watching Rose run the the one-man fast break this year, he is a total blur on the court. Rose needs a nickname befitting of his speed. Stacey King likes to call him a Ferrari among a bunch of Hyundais.

I'm gonna go with another analogy: Rose on the court is like a Barracuda in the open sea. Thus, I dub him Derricuda! Somebody pass this onto Stacey, so we can get this nickname off the ground.

Why do "nicknames" (and I use quotes because they aren't) of the last 30 years have to be part of your name? Arod, MJ, etc. I don't get the total lack of creativity.

MVP isn't really a nickname and others have won the MVP too.

I like the Englewood Express.

Yeah, a portmanteau isn't much of a nickname.

How about Redrum? After all he does murder his opposition.
And the Bulss uniform is red which I'm sure everyone knows.

But...............
His old nickname was "Poohdini" which is tatted on his arm.
So technically he already has a nickname.

"poohdini" was cute and got him laid in high school. Pretty sure that's not the primary focus anymore.

Calling Rose Ferrari is the type of nickname athletes should have

It doesn't matter, he's Poohdini for life simply because its tatted on him so he must of planned on keeping that nickname forever unless he has plastic surgery on his arm.

MVP which would become obsolete to some when someone else wins that award, would still stand in Chicago as long as he's a Bull, so he wll always be Chicagos MVP as long as he plays here.

Personally, I like "REDRUM" and its self explanatory...Plus its an SP94 origional.
I can imagine the crowd chaning "redrum" "redrum" in a Jack Nicholson voice as his opponant attempts to defend him and gets MURDERED in hole as Rose breaks him down.
