What do you think about the Bulls trading their 17th pick?

I don´t think the Bulls will have the chance to pick a good player late in the draft like they did with Gibson. So it could make sense to trade the pick for something.

What about Lebron to the Timberwolves? Easy answer: No way! I don´t know where he has that from. I wouldn´t be surprised to read Sam Smith´s blog tomorrow about the possibility of Lebron going to the Hawks or Celtics. :silly:

Arenas to the Lakers seems interesting and this is a deal I can see happen.

i dont see lebron going to the lakers. i cant see the lakers affording another huge salary unless they get rid of pau.

Arenas to LA will not happen. First off he makes waaaaay too much money. Second, with a nutjob like Artest on the team they're not desperately searching for another one. Third, I don't see Kobe & Arenas co-existing on the same team. I just get the feeling these two would despise each other. And fourth, the just won the NBA Finals, they don't need much improving.

Sam Smith is an idiot. Time for him to retire, he hasn't written anything relevant since 1998. Even then you have a hard time believing it.

On a side note, I wonder if JJ has pics of Smith or is cutting him in to get all that good press. Really Bron, Bosh and JJ in the same sentence?

reinsdorf might have suggested to sam that we tell everyone we're going after JJ. BAM! we go out an sign bosh and lebron, suddenly, gar/dorf looks a heck of a lot better.

either that or sam smith is crazy.

i'm pretty sure fisher is an expiring. they dont really need to sign him. If the lakers are about to ask the best coach out there to take a pay cut, it might be reasonable to infer they dont want to add muhc more salary to their roster. However, getting lebron would give you an extra 2-3 years to be a contender. in 2 years the lakers are going to be the new celtics. getting lebron would change that...but i have no idea how they would be able to afford that. kobe gets paid 30 million soon. pau will be making 19-20. lebron would be making a max contract. that's most of a roster on 3 guys.
