I know and now Scottie wants to be the head coach according to rumors.
I think Scottie would be better off starting as an assistant somewhere and working his way up like he worked his way up as a player.
I wish Thibbs would hire him.

I hope Pip gets it. I'm not really sure how good he can coach, and I'm curious to find out.

I feel Pip is currently better suited for an assistant position. I think given the right guidance & situation, he can be a great coach with time. He's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the game (even trains with Bulls players over the summer). No one can question that.

Unfortunately, I don't see this happening with the Bulls. Ron Adams, Andy Greer, Ed Pickney, & Adrian Griffin aren't going anywhere. Brunson could potentially be moved since he has front office experience from his time at University of Virginia, but I think Thibs likes his current staff as is.

He should go be a coach for the BobCats... MJ can assemble the ultimate staff of guys doing jobs they have no business doing.

I think Scottie wants to be a coach or anything to still be part of the NBA and get attention so he isn't forgotten.
Or he wants to beat MJ to another ring.
Plus the money.

Yeah, I don't want Pip near the Bulls as a coach. But anywhere else, he could be a good coach. I'm not rooting against him, and if he's bad, then that's one less team for us to worry about. Win:win(as long as he's not a Bulls coach)
