jeez

I guess its good they're not satisfied with the goaltending but it doesn't bode well for the rest of this season and post.

I'd say give him a shot. The past 2 seasons the back up has emerged as the starting goalie. Hutton could come up and take over the job

with a handfull of games left in the season?

that would be a crystal clear sign that they're throwing in the towel for 2012.

maybe its a sign that toews wont be ready for the playoffs too.

There it is:
#Blackhawks goaltender Ray Emery is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Won't travel to New Jersey. Injury not related to flu.

From Chris Kuc on Twitter.

I know they've got a pair of guys down in the WHL that have some potential, but those guys are a good 3-4 years away.

I think they're banking on Crawford or Salak being the guy for the foreseeable future. Doesn't look so good right now.

Biggest priority in the offseason is upgrading the goalie position. I'm tired of inconsistent play.

There is a good possibility that Salak gets a 1 way ticket out of Rockford after the season is over. His meltdowns seemed to have burned a lot of bridges within the organization.

According to Jesse Rogers, Emery tweaked something last night.

I blame the bomb from Weber.

I'm going to throw some credit to Carter Hutton. He started the season as an afterthought in the AHL, but he's worked his ass off to get the Ice Hogs back in the playoff race and he got rewarded with a 2-way NHL deal. Good for him.

Still going to be nervous as hell if he is forced to play for the Blackhawks. Yikes.

It doesnt even matter. If he is worse it wont be by much which is the bigger issue. Our goalies all blow.
