I hate making New Year’s Resolutions. I think they are ridiculous. They are almost always well intentioned, but equally almost always unattainable. I promise not to eat chocolate this year. I promise to lose 25 pounds even though my previous best is a gain of two pounds. Next thing you know, during a bowl game on New Year’s Day they are chomping on a dark chocolate reindeer left over from Christmas.

Well, a call was made out by Rush. He is comfortable at this point with the number of members, but would like to increase the quality of the posts on the site. There are some great posters here that really are passionate about sports, Chicago, heck life. And even though I have some issues with some things done on this site, I want to help achieve what Rush is asking for.

So I am making a New Year’s Resolution. I resolve to make 12 quality initial posts this year. Doesn’t seem like a lot until you realize that if 29 other people did this, we’d have a total of one quality topic per day for the entire year. That’s going to make this site better, at least I hope so.

My next post will be in the introduction section. Yes, I’ve posted it in there before, but I’ll be posting it in a different way. This one will let you know the expectations I have of myself and my expectations I hope to have of those that choose to reply to my posts.

No matter, the goal of making CSS a place where everyone wants to be at, where some of the best non paid sports enthusiasts can be found is a goal I want to be a part of. I hope you want to be a part of it too.

Wow... CoughkissassCough. LOL Just kidding :) It is indeed a good idea and ambition. I personally am limited when posting thanks to freaking phone limitations, so my posting abilities get hampered severely at times. Still, aside the quick smartass replies to get a laugh, I agree in trying to provide more quality and effort into posting. Not the 'Ur opinion sucks, therefore u suck' mentality. But it starts with Quality Topics that others find interesting as well. Posts tend to reflect the Topic and effort.

I will try to make 10 quality posts but I predict I'll be too distracted by Rush's m00bs to concentrate.
