bought these for computer today. They were $1/piece and brand new. Either of them any good?

I have both those the EA Sports 08 collection...never tried fifa...but NHL is alright as long as you have a controller to use

I had FIFA 08 and NHL 08 for the PS2. Both were decent games. Though I will admit that FIFA got a ton more game play. I don't know how much you are into soccer X, but FIFA is a fun game. And even a few buddies of mine that aren't into soccer at all love playing the game. 08 isn't nearly as good as 11, but it is still a really fun game that I wasted many hours on.

You will love FIFA then. I mean 11 is way better in terms of gameplay, but 08 is still a very solid game. I've played many a season of 08 in both the Be a Pro mode, controlling the whole team, and just managing and simming.

do you have a xbox 360 wired controller or a ps3 controller?
If so you can use those though the ps3 controller you would have to download some files in order to get it to work
If not a cheap generic gamepad should work

My favorite teams
FIFA and PES are both great. Dangerous games LOL, because you'll find yourself addicted, and still not give a shit about soccer in general.
