NHL set to release 2011-12 schedule Tuesday

The NHL is set to release the 2011-12 schedule on Tuesday.
With the season just ending it is fun to remember that next year is just around the bend.

That's the day the relocation of Atlanta to Winnipeg is supposed to be approved or declined... and they are supposed to announce their name after approval... so it would have to be pretty late in the day or not have team names, just city names... but then again, we don't know if it is Manitoba or Winnipeg.

No, there isn't supposed to be realignment until next year. They are probably waiting for Winnipeg/Manitoba to announce it's name before it appears on the schedule.

sheesh, they should just go ahead and say they are going to be the Jets already, of course that would hurt merch sales so they will probably go with a different name...
