Seattle, WA -- Major news out of Minnesota this morning. It appears the Wild have been purchased and re-located to Seattle, Washington. During the change a new GM (Icehogfan08) has been hired to come in and rebuild the team. 1 player was listed as safe during the press conference was the team Captain Mikko Koivu who willl be the center buidling piece. "I have no intentions to move Mikko anytime soon. He is a valuable part of this organization, and will continue to be that valuable piece."

Knights aqquire Kessel & Yandle
Seattle, WA -- The Seattle Knights have anounced 2 trades that have landed them the likes of Phil Kessel and Keith Yandle.

Kessel a 6'0" Winger and former 1st round pick(5th overall) of the Boston Bruins, was aqquired early this morning that sent Martin Havlat, and young prospect Mikael Granlund to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Kessel. "We let Toronto know that we wantd Kessel. We also knew we were going to have to give up some big pieces in order to aqquire a player like Kessel." "Anytime you get the opportunity to add Kessel to your top line its a great opprtunity. In this case we are addig him to play alongside Mikko Koivu for a very taleted top line."

Later in the day the Knights GM wasn't done dealing yet. "I got a phone call from the New York Islanders wanting to know if I would be interested on being in a 3 team deal that would land them Yandle. I said we had no interest and hung up, immediately calling Phoenix to get my hands on Yandle. At first I didn't think the deal was going to go through as Yadlewanted to go to a playoff contender. Thats when I called Yandle's agent and told him that it hasn't been announced butwe have aqquired Phil Kessel and wuld love to add Yandle to ou group, about 45 minutes later I got a call."

Yandle former 4th round pick(105th overall) was then aqquired for Cam Barker and a 1st round pick. "Barker is a solid payer, we will misshis offensice capabilities, but we feel we get that with Yandle, along wth horing up our defensive game."

Knights aqquire Defensive Depth at the Trade Deadline.
Seattle, WA --During the morning skate press conference GM Icehogfan08 announced that the Seattle Knights were involved in 2 deals that landed them 3 defenders. Deals were made with the Rival Calgary Flames and Eastern Conference team Buffalo Sabres.

The first trade was with the Clagary Flames, when the Knihts announced that they had aqquired Adam Pardy. Pardy a 6'4" defender drafted in 2004 6th round (173rd overall) has appeared in 57 games for the Flames this season. "Normally you dont see rivals trading players at the deadline, but to aqquire Pardy for a pick was well worth it." The final deal in place was a 2012 3rd round pick goes to the Flames for Pardy.

The Knights later anounced that they have sent James Sheppard, Andrew Brunette, and a 2011 3rd round pick to the Buffalo Sabres for defenders Chris Butler, Ladislav Smid, and Mike Weber. "We thought this was a really good deal for us, we get 3 very young up and coming D-men for our future. Buffalo is in a heated playoff chase and really wanted Brunette for that veteran leadership he brings. We hate to see a player like Brunette go, but at this time in his career he wants to win, so we all decided Buffalo was his best option."
