People just think it's OK to sue for anything. I admit I don't know much about insurance, but I thought homeowner's insurance was to cover things that happened on your property not at a pubic venue. Greed has no shame.

Can someone explain to me why it's taken 2 years to get to this point? Is she just now suing or has the NJ court system seriously been pushing it around this long? The kid was 11 when it happen and is 13 now.

My guess would be her insurance company put the claim in with the kid's parents' and the kid's parents' insurance balked. So the ball-in-the-face lady's insurance figured suing would be the only way to get the money.
