If you want it to be quirky, just get starting centers w/ low 3pt% to participate...take it down to 3 balls on a rack, and let midgets shot out of cannons attempt to block the shots.

I say you consider getting guys who was dead-eye 3 pt shooters in college (Korver, Redick come to mind) and save a cpl spots for guys that apparently the sport revolves around and we have to find a way to get into the ASG after 6 flippin' games

Then eliminate only 1 player each round, so the most consistend player wins! No moneyballs!

That is a good reason for CJ to be more focused from now on.
His game was so bad from the time he started thinking about the possibility of him being in the 3pt contest this year.

I know that Korver and CJ were deserving to be there but that's life.

Is chalmers shooting % and attempts worth being a selection? I swear they make sure to put heat players in the 3pt contest while great shooters like Ben Gordon and Kyle Korver have been snubbed.

Jason Terry & Korver both should be in the competition. You can make a case for Allen, as well, & even Jefferson. Joe Johnson deserves no place in the contest. You might as well put Brandon Jennings in it too then.

Does anyone know how they even select these players? Love is a good shooter for a big, but hes not even Dirk good. Chalmers and Jones are because the Heat are popular. Joe Johnson because of his name and ATL record. Who knows?! They should pick players that would actually do well in the competition. Pure/set shooters. Award the actual season or only all stars compete, instead of picking names out of a hat. Doesnt make any sense.

We pay these players too much money where these games dont mean anything to them anymore. They have no reason to compete. And dont get me started on the terrrible skills challenge or that Special person legends/girls/players thing they do. Its a joke

No Chalmers is there because he is top5 in 3pts and in 3pt% and Jones because he is the last year champion.

But Korver is too and he would have great chances to win it too.
