It has become the world's tourist attraction, bar, and cash cow for ownership.

And as long as those facts are present, there isn't enough incentive to pay for those few big name FA's fans think will someday be added to round out the prospect roster.

Cubs will simply roll out prospect after prospect and field enough talent to compete in the division, nothing more.

This only ends the Old Style marketing deal. Which is separate from 'pouring deals' as it is sometimes called. Old Style could still be sold at Wrigley next year.
