Theyre probably waiting till they come out with something other than Bluray so they can jack the prices even higher. Use to favor the PS brand, but not anymore. Bunch of greedy money whores.

With the way the current playstation model has been going and selling, it would be quite hard to imagine how a new version of the console wold arrive soon.

And though it could come as a new update to the current lineup, it would still not be that change in arbitrary value that people surely will go nuts over.

But in any case, I think that an upgrade will b be something totally welcomed

Their stock is at record lows, so there must be a conspiracy somewhere hiding all of that greedy money. The hardware within the PS3 wasn't exactly just an existing Power architecture. It was a full on custom cell design.
