So, anyone starting to worry about this drought yet? Rivers are at all-time lows. Crops are drying up all across the Midwest. Everywhere I look I see brown grass. We need some rain badly. All I'm seeing in the forecast is 90s and sun for the next 10 days.

I've mowed the lawn 3 times this year, 2 times in late March.

I walked around downtown Aurora yesterday to look at the Fox River. It is very low.

My lawn is a brown wasteland.

strange. NW hasn't had a day go by without rain. Rivers and Damns are over flowing. Which is good because the Rockys had record lows in snow fall.

Midwest, in most portions hasn't had more than .25 inches in 8 weeks. Minnesota, had has record rainfall and the Mississippi is 4 feet above flood stage.

Crazy. I'm growing hay in my lawn. Watering the nice bushes and foliage about twice a week to ensure they don't die and need to be replaced.

Same here. No rain for weeks and I can't remember when we last had a big rain. On top of that we had hardly any snow all winter here so it is becoming a definite concern.

The winter was so mild in Aurora that we had some annuals (flowers) come back. That's never happened.

We got an inch or so of rain yesterday, but overall its been a pretty dry summer. Problem here is when you get a bunch of rain it floods quickly or it was because of a tropical storm.

Gave up on my lawn and landscaping already. If it doesn't kill it will make it stronger I guess.

Rained every afternoon here. Fucking poured in Largo every afternoon too, miserable driving in the rain in florida. Apparently florida rain is special since it makes everyone do 10 under the god damn speed limit.

We've had so much rain here, but last week it finally stopped. There have been so many floods and water levels are still crazy high. Also, now we have creepy smoke from fires in Russia. Russia, keep your fires to yourself!

Maybe try this for the brown grass?

I'd rather have brown grass, and drink the beer, and make Jack N Cokes with the soda....

Ne, Canada should give Canada to Alaska.

Is Canada good enough for Alaska. I here they have pretty high standards there. Heck I saw those high standards watching the TV show Men in Trees (that my wife forced me to watch, but she also knows that Anne Heche is on my list so it was an easy sell).

Men in Trees was filmed in Canada so it was all a trick! You were watching Vancouver play Alaska.
