Noah out til after All-Star break

Joakim Noah will sit the next 4 games due to his plantar fascitis. Horrible time to lose him with games against Atlanta, Miami, & Orlando coming up. I'm hoping this issue is not going to dog Jo the rest of the year because without him playing @ 100%, this team is really going to struggle just to get the 8th spot even in the Weakstern Conference.

Most likely, it will dog him for the rest of the year...he needs anywhere from 4-8 weeks of total rest and being off of his feet for it to heal...that won't happen until after the playoffs...

Depends on how bad it is, for some guys it never goes away totally, for others a bit of rest clears it up. 4 games isn't long enough to fix it, but if it gets him to a point where he can play fairly unhindered the rest of the season it's worth it.

im just afraid that brad miller's extra minutes will take its toll on him while noah is gone. then when noah is back, he'll make up for miller's drop in minutes due to his swelling knee. then, noah's extra minutes will reactivate the plantar fasomething. ugh. such a lose-lose situation with these nagging injuries. hopefully im just being overly cynical.
