Noah's rehab going well, could return to Bulls in a few weeks - NBA - Sporting News

Noah had the pins in his thumb removed, but still has more rehab ahead. “The next step is, he is still in a cast,” Thibodeau said. "Once he gets the cast off, then he will be able to move to non-contact type activities with the basketball. Once he gets through that, he will strengthen his hand enough where he can take on contact. Then he will be cleared to play. So he is still two steps away, but he’s making good progress. He is pretty much on schedule, so probably somewhere around the All-Star break.”

Awww hell yes!

Man we can really make our push for the #1 spot and Boston with Noah back. We've done a good job without him so far..

#1 is probably going to require Boston to slip like they did last year. The schedule is kinda rough for the next month or so, and Noah wont be back for another couple of weeks. If the Bulls can stay in touch it's a cake walk to end the season though.

It will be interesting to see how the Bulls use Kurt Thomas once Noah gets back. I wouldn't mind seeing Noah and Thomas playing together. Defensively, that would be pretty sickening. I wouldn't want them to use that combo too often, but it has potential...

Offensively it would be pretty sickening too. Just not in a good way. :)

The good thing offensively would be that Kurt Thomas could hit the mid-range jumper while Noah does have a decent post-up game. But yeah, it would be pretty limiting...
