Sources told ESPN.com that the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings, in discussing a Samuel Dalembert-for-Kenny Thomas swap, have discussed expanding that concept with Boston by trying to draw in the Celtics on a potential three-way deal that would finally land Andres Nocioni in Boston.

Discussions are reportedly ongoing and they have a long ways to go before being completed.

Sacramento would send Nocioni to Boston, Kenny Thomas, Tony Allen and Brian Scalabrine to Philadelphia and Dalembert and J.R. Giddens to Sacramento.
if this deal gets done, i'm happy for the guy. he really wanted to win a title. he's not quite a starter, but he isn't really a bench player. he would fill their need for a sf/pf very welll. Marquis daniels is a good perimeter defender. noce would allow them to play small ball with ease. they'd be a stacked team. their bench would be house, daniels playing(pretty much playing pg), noce, and wallace. that's pretty formidable. they have 3 shooters off the bench. all of them besides house play good defense.

Good trade for all teams involved, Noce goes to a winner and Boston wants him, Philly gets rid of Dalembert and opens up a starting spot for Speights, Dalembert provides a defensive presence for the Kings

the noce trade might be able to pulled off w/o dalembert. i think the only party who is hesitant is boston. he has a hefty contract thanks to us.

I have a feeling the Hornets are asking for more than just Kenny Thomas. I wouldn't be shocked if NO are trying to pry away either Hawes or Thompson. The Kings should pass if they are insisting on Thompson, but I think a deal involving Hawes/Thomas for Okafor is a good deal for Sac.

I like a swap of Hinrich and Dalembart. He would be a great backup for Noah. I like a interchangeable duo; for instance, Noah and Miller or Miller and Dalembart on the floor. That's just me and probably only me. Y'all agree with me on that?

PF: Noah - Gibson
C: Dalembart - Miller

*Boston is the best team if this actually goes through. You can't argue that statement. Nocioni can give Artest problems, too. I can see it now, Nocioni and Artest engaging a fight in the finals with 3 secs. left. Now freethrows from both teams are the deciding factor and Rondo blows the freethrows, while Lakers wins the title.

signing dalembert would not only screw up guard rotation. you'd see more of pargo. you'd aslo have to see more of dalembert... neither is appealing. signing a back up center for 12 mil is ridiculous. Also dalemberts contract is terrible. i'm not sure why anyone would have any interest in him.

3million difference... your point?

They're not within 25% of each other so the trade does not work.

Not to mention it kills any 2010 plan.

  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears

Good for Noce then. Boston would get more stacked plus have actual depth on the bench with House, Daniels, Nocioni, and Sheed. That's a good bench. Plus the tenacity that he brings to the floor every night would fit right in with the Celtic's defensive scheme.
