IIRC, he plays everything but the drums in the studio and then has a drummer & bassist he tours with.

Versatility is a huge staple amoung *** musicians making them superior to their straight counterpartss in so many ways.

I wouldn't go that far, but he is very talented

BTW..I KNEW he was playing a Gretsch..And of course, thru a Fender blackface amp which IMHO the 2nd best amps ever made, next to the Fender Tweeds. Fender still makes that deluxe Reverb in a hand wired version. Great amp!

Clapton was only good when he was blasted on hard drugs and getting cucked by Ginger Baker. Doxx yourself again if u want me to fight you about this. I'll drive u to the ER in your Audi afterwords but we have to listen to better guitarists than the two you like.

Clapton isn't spicy like Prince is, but he plays really tastefully. Watching him is like watching a brain surgeon.
Claptons "fast" days are over, but I still appreciate his music. Except for that unplugged shit.

Guitarists call his playing "tasty"
