It is time for NHL fans to make a statement......

All I'm asking for is one game. Just one game. The first game game back, no one show up. That would be the only thing these collective greedy clowns will understand. Let them know that the fans have a say so in this as well...it was "our" money afterall, that they were haggling over. If you care to fill the arenas afterward, be my guest but for just ONE damn game....show them who is really in control.

I don't think the 14,000 season ticket holders for the Blackhawks are just going to throw money down the toilet. I personally have season tickets and you better believe that they will be used (either by myself or someone else) the first game of the season.

I get where you are coming from but it just doesn't make sense for most and with the money people have "saved" by having less games to go to this year, it will be a full stadium in Chicago certainly.

As I would want to do, I know it would do nothing to the league. The only thing that could make an impact is multiple games which isnt realistic. I know with a client of mine I can go whenever I want in a nice box but I probably will only go if I am really really hungry and coming from the city from work. Other than that I probably will pass on going unless it is the stanley cup finals and we are in them.

It's a nice thought, but it's wholly unrealistic.

The Hawks season ticket waiting list went UP by 250 during the lockout. Seriously.

The UC will be packed next Tuesday and it'll be as loud as always.

One thing that I've seen suggested, which is probably easier to pull off, is to not cheer the first anthem. It's something so simple and so small that it may be possible, but I have my doubts. Fan protests so rarely happen anymore.
