Just sarcasm. It was just on ESPN news and saw some of the same on CNN. I really haven't seen much reluctance of the media showing these type pictures. In incidents like this, they have shown the bloody pics and carnage and it does hit home. In a case like Sandy Hook there was no blood so nothing to show.

Watching the coverage for some of the evening I was actually amazed they ("they" being the media outlets' editors who decide what content is/is not "fit" for public consumption) allowed constant feeds from overhead from which you could clearly recognize pools of blood/flesh. Most countries' media had little issue with airing graphic visual proof of the sacrifices of war and the carnage of attacks like these. I wish our media was as candid in general, it would provide people with a more realistic perspective of our world.

Best thing about those pictures is you can see people who are just there helping out. Perhaps there is some humanity left.

I know dude. I seen them as well. A cpl of these were much more graphic then anything seen on the tube. That's why I posted. I agree with ya TJ. I think people would just get used to it after awhile though and become desensitized to the whole thing. Like, oh look, another burning body on TV, what else is on honey?I'm sure if anybody's interested, they can find some real traces of death type photos floating around on today's events but, that's not the point of this thread.

I know what you mean. Was just messin' with ya. While they showed some of those pics they didn't show the missing legs and more graphic like that, just made mention of it.

It's sad, but I'm almost numb to those pictures. So much crazy shit is going on in the world today and there's a bunch of pictures like those that you just get desensitized to it.

Kinda like porn. When you first see a picture of tits when you're a kid, you almost jizz your pants. After watching porn over a few years/dealing with the real thing, the picture of the tits is still hot, but it doesn't do as much for you anymore.

One happened on a public street with 100's of people holding cameras and one happened in classroom. Are you really surprised there are more pics?

I think people need to see what The regulated Media outlets are not allowed to show. Things just seem surreal while watching news coverage and nothing really hits home, IMO. http://redflagnews.com/headlines/wa...es?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook

Perhaps the "regulated" media outlets have more class.
I am all for images like this being accessible for people who chose to seek them out- but it would be pretty shitty to turn on the tv, worried about a loved one, and get hit with pictures of their shredded limbs.

Another issue I have is-in many of the pictures there seemed to be unattended walking wounded.... some unable to walk. the shitheads who were snapping the pictures are less than garbage in my opinion for chosing to snap ghoulish photos for personal gain rather than assist in a pretty horrific situation.
I am sure the people who were not shredded bits of flesh from the leg down did not get much comfort knowing that a bunch of ghouls would rather document and sell gristly pictures rather than help comfort or assist the wounded.

A bunch of sick bastards. I regret looking at the pictures- not because of the graphic nature.... Because I regret giving a single click of traffic and validation to the cowardly, good for nothing, opportunistic ghouls who peddled these pictures for profit and recognition.
