According to ESPNChicago.com, a source close to the team has said the Nuggets are now listening to offers for Melo. Before the Nuggets have denied any such contact and have stood by there 3 year extension offer to Melo. But with no budge from their superstar, the Nuggets are starting to realize Melo's true desire to go play for a bigger city. And following Lebron's "decision", the Nuggets don't want to be stuck in that same place.

Reports are the New Jersey(Brooklyn) Nets have been the most active team so far pursuing Melo. "I'm not sure how soon, but I do think they're going to trade him [between now and February]," said one rival GM. If Melo does not accept an extension before training camp, the message would be loud and clear to the Nuggets. "I want out"

Let's get him!

The Nets offer doesn't make much sense though. Why would the Nuggets take on Murphy. They would have 4 PF with Favors, Murphy, Harrington, and K-Mart. It's going to have to be a three team trade when they give someone Devin Harris for cap space
