750 on the books and we're short staffed in the kitchen. I'll be eating steak n eggs from Ihop around 600 am. There better be some good threads to read, bastards.

Nice. Nothing fancy for me. Having some friends over, and having snacky stuff to munch on through the evening. Crackers, cheese, fruit, meatballs, various dips, some cheese fondue, cold shrimp, etc.

Yum. I wanted to give the kids a little food fun. They love sea creatures

Just wife and I. Both fighting nasty colds. Some pasta with white truffles is all we are having.

Pretty much the same thing, I'm a simpleton man with simple tastes, meatballs, weenie wraps, shrimp, my contribution will be a chili queso dip for tortilla chips or crusty sourdough bread. Not a fan of restaurants on NYE, and I would rather have 20 different things to graze on all night than one big sit down meal. Although you could coax me to the table with HHM's menu.

Good luck dude.

Thanks. Been doing nothing but rallying the troops for 3 weeks straight with motivational emails, fried chicken and gift cards to walmart on XMAS eve. Did over 1k covers on xmas eve.

I truly hate the holidays.

Hoppin John for the new year and shellfish on NYE, my kind of eating right there.

I just got back from two weeks of holiday eating with family, just made some sauteed cod with a warm slaw tonight, little at home bourbon flight this evening. Snacks tomorrow. Keto Wednesday.

Yeah, I canceled my plans because of a cold. Throat is killing me. I worked for a half day too. Now I'm home with soup and tea. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year.

Nevermind that shortorder cook from Slidell...it is a known fact that at least 25 minutes of uninterrupted zydeco is the only way your roux for the etouffe will ever properly mesh.

I deferred to the wife this NYE and she wanted taco night. I cheated and got some carnitas from the supermercado down the block...cooked them down with my own seasonings and broth for some tasty pork tacos with all the fixings plus rice and beans. I even have a bottle of mezcal I have been slowly working on for months now...if I feel so inclined.

¡Feliz Año Nuevo!
