Doesn't improve the team though, just keeps it from going the other way (as he was with us last year on loan).

Yeah, but it is a sign that the club is not going to rely on loans to bolster the roster only to see if they work and then not pay the money needed to retain those players. it's a good sign. But I agree, it's been too quiet on the home front. Hopefully we'll hear something within the next week or two.
