The rankings are based on appeal, longevity, quality and personal preference. There’s little about this that’s scientific, but maybe it gains the prestige of one of those Forbes lists.

Someone at the Sun Times decided to rank Chicago’s sports media icons. Personally Bernstein and Parkins are rated way too low and I wouldn’t have put any of the ESPN guys on here but I am glad Mully, Haugh and Joniak were left off of the list.

I don't think the sports team broadcasters should be on this list, should be a separate list.

I agree with Kapp at the top and I also think Colin Cowherd should be Top 3 with Bernstein and Kapp.
