I know this is a late game and some people dont eat late, but Im gonna wait till the game to eat dinner. Make something nice for a Cubs Win.
I think I am going to make a couple of slaw dogs.
2 100% all beef dogs.
2 split top buns, buttered, and seared on the sides.
Made some Couchon de lait on Sunday cooked in aromatics and beer. Pork was blackened before going into the oven.
Going to make a mirliton, tomato, and sweet pickle slaw to go on top
Take two dogs and grill them and get that nice grill marks on them where they are nice and puffy. Take your seared buns and put nice brown mustard in them. Put your grilled dogs in it. Top with Couchon de lait and a slice of Swiss cheese. Pop them in the oven and get that cheese all nice and melty. Add some of my delishes relish on top and finish with a little celery salt. Voila! Two dogs that make you feel at the ball park.
