Good afternoon!

I've seen so much hand-wringing and many "rants" about MItch today, some apologizing from the apologists, some good agreement from folks finally finding some objectivity and reality-based analysis in their assessment of the young quarterback as he continues to find his "bounce back game" increasingly more elusive.

Essentially: Much talk about Mitch, and not so much positive (for those of you who have trouble reading a sentence longer than 4-5 words)

But I think I've arrived at a conclusion that is pretty reasonable, that I think at least 90% or roughly halve of CCS can willingly agree on:

"Mako" Mitch is not a thing. Not that it ever was, but as of now, it is definitely without any doubt or question, NOT A THING.

I'm pretty sure if we went back and looked at the nickname threads from years' past, we would all have a good chuckle about the whole "Mako" name. His eyes are not those of a killer shark. He does not express a killer instinct with the eyeballs he has.

He is

most certainly

for all intents and purposes

MOLE EYE'D MITCHELL

Thanks

I've always just been a 'Mitch' or 'Trubisky' guy. Most of the nicknames people tried to coin just sounded plain dumb, with Mako being #1 in that category!!!

Maybe if Mitch buys a new sports car, like say a Lamborghini, and becomes one spirit with it... Maybe it's the Camry holding him back.

Or maybe it's not gonna happen.

On the other side, the Saints also young QB, Bridgewater threw lasers and darts with purpose. We need someone like that.

Mitch is probably vegetarian anyway. Only thing he hunts for is daddy Nagy’s approval, who’s about to leave him a bastard *****.

That is what I love about HeHateMe, always trying to look at the bright side. Thankfully, that Mako crap is dead.

Long live Spaniel Daniel.

Sure... kick a shark when it's down.

We've known since his first season that he wasn't a flashy or great QB. And that he's probably the least experienced QB to come out of college since Superbowl reorganization. At best we can hope Mitch progresses slowly, continues to protect the ball, have good pocket awareness and scrambling ability.

It's extremely funny to me that this is what pfr's page for him looks like right now. Literally no one calls him that. We need to organize a petition or something to get them to correct it to Mole Eyed Mitch.
