Discuss MB and your thoughts on retaining him next year, or letting him go etc.

He should come to the Cubs and be an ace :cubstroll:

If the Sox are serious about contending next year, he should be a part of the White Sox as long as he wants to be until he retires.

I really want him back. If he goes anywhere it will be STL.

I know you told me about some of the White Sox pitching prospects, how close are they to being major league ready?

the lack of prospects maybe. Sale would be the one who goes into the starting rotation.

Right now, their best pitching prospects are at AA so they're at least another year away. I say sign Buehrle for three years so he can retire as a White Sox.

I hope he comes back. I think he definitely wants to retire as a White Sox player, and the Sox should sign him for a few more years. He's been an important part of our rotation for years.

He wants to be here, and the vast majority of the fans (including me) want him here, but I have a feeling Kenny won't give him a contract and he'll move on to the Cardinals.

He'll sign elsewhere in the offseason because KW paid too much $$$ for the corpses of Alex Rios and Adam Dunn.

I think it will be between CHW and STL who signs him. I just cant see hi retiring when he still a very productive MLB pitcher.

I agree that the choice is likely between CHW and STL, and if I had to choose between the two I am definitely pulling for CHW. If Kenny lets him go, I wouldn't mind the Cubs making a run at him, but STL would probably win even if they were offering significantly less.

It's definitely a 2-team race for Buehrle. Either stay with the Sox or be closer to home in STL.

I agree. He might go to STL, just because that's where he is from. I would like that because anytime I'm in STL during the summer I could watch him every five games, but I would love to see him stay with the Sox. He has been the ace for years and has really helped anchor down the rotation year after year.
