:yeah:

17,869 fan in attendance per game broke our record from the inaugural 1996 season.

Now when San Jose gets a real stadium... (even there new one is gonna be small)

Just stating the facts, not saying it means it is more popular.

And I would like to point out that San Jose has a stadium way smaller than any NBA or NHL stadium.

San Jose's stadium is half the size of the UC, like literally.

But ya, random fact.

1 team can be a statistical outlier that drags down the median number in attendance stats. Also, KC was dragging the league down by playing at a minor league baseball field that held no more than 11K also. Now that they have moved to their own stadium, they have been averaging around 18K/match--more in line with league average. Sadly, the Fire have slumped a bit in that department--although the season ticket holder base has increased substantially (though, that's not saying much).

:yep:

We're about 3K below the league average.

And KC's field was :turrible:, actually an indy league (specifically American Association IIRC) field, even worse than minor.
