Montador has been signed for about $2.75 million a year. This 4 year contract could be a steal or it could be a bust. Montador has the ability to score and put up some good +/- ratings, so let's hope he has his best 4 years NOW. He's 31 so, it's not impossible for that to happen.

If that's the official number he comes in on, right now, I'd say it's a little on the high side...but only high around 500 or so, which isn't going to kill us.

Solid signing. Montador brings us grit in the backend. I'm not expecting him to put up offensive numbers, but for his style the salary is a bit on the higher side. Montador brings the grittiness we missed last season
