I always like to find the little islands of coverage where a specific game is being shown and it's not being shown anywhere else near there, and figure out why.

For example, notice that in Fox early, absolutely nobody is carrying Minnesota/San Francisco on the east cost...except a little spot in Virginia. That's because former Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins is making his first start for the Vikings and they know people in the DC area will want to see how he does.

The game has an NFC east division team involved. Same reason Chicago would get the Lions or Vikings no matter how much they suck.

CBS Chicago has to air an AFC game if the Bears aren't on, and the Colts are the closest AFC team.

I remember having to keep track of those maps when i used to live in Florida trying to watch Bears football, it was a pain because most times i'd have to watch the game by stream on my cpu if it wasn't a Sunday or Monday night game or whenever the Bears played the Bucs or Jags...….don't have to worry about that anymore since moving back home to Chicago some years ago.

Sucks that bears, Packers, and lions all play early. I prefer bears and Packers to be at different times so I have two teams to really root for (or against in the Packers case)
