Yup, speaking of Wirfs, I think this one sold me:

According to NFL Research, Membou is one of four offensive linemen ever to jump better than a 30-inch vertical and run a sub-5.00 40 at 315 pounds or heavier. Two other men on the list also happen to be two of the NFL's best blockers currently: the 49ers' Trent Williams and the Buccaneers' Tristan Wirfs. That's pretty good company.

This also helps:
Comps are so stupid though. Oh this T has all the same measurables as this HOF type T so he'll also be a HOF type T.

If he had his hands and feet and power and football IQ and everything else Peters had then you have something but that stuff you don't know until they get in the NFL and actually play games.

I want the bears to spend 3 picks on trenches in the first 4 picks. But I'm definitely a fan of jeanty. If he fell to 10 and they take him, I think he'll be a lot of fun to watch.

I'm good if they don't take him too because there is some nice OL/DL options at 10.
You might want to invest in dick insurance. I doubt they take more than one trench player after the free agency investment.

The funny thing about Jeanty is that he SHOULD be there at 10 or so. He's a small step below Bijan as a prospect and even Bijan went 8 overall. There really isn't a reason Jeanty should go much higher given that teams aren't really desperate for RBs. But IDK

His mock from yesterday…

10. Chicago Bears, Top Draft Pick Prediction: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Previous selection in Mock Draft 4.0: Ashton Jeanty, RB

Best Draft Targets for the Bears With the 10th Pick:

  • Offensive Line: The Bears overhauled the interior offensive line and have Darnell Wrightlocked in at right tackle, but that still leaves Braxton Jones as a less-than-ideal left tackle who is also in the final year of his contract. Ohio State’s Josh Simmons is a good fit, so long as his medicals check out. Or they could target a lineman with potential guard/tackle versatility like Missouri’s Armand Membou or LSU’s Will Campbell.
  • Ashton Jeanty: If the Bears are comfortable with the offensive line as is, adding Jeanty with this selection could take some pressure off Caleb Williams.
  • Tyler Warren: The Bears have a capable tight end in Cole Kmet under contract through 2027, but Warren would be an upgrade. Kmet’s contract is also structured in such a way that Chicago can save some money by moving on after the 2025 season.
Who Calls the Shots in the Bears Draft Room?

GM Ryan Poles (fourth year) has final say over roster construction. Poles was previously with the Chiefs since 2009, working under GM Brett Veach as director of player personnel.

Key Stats & Notes for the Bears Heading into the 2025 NFL Draft:

  • Gained 20 or more yards on 4.4% of offensive plays, ranked 28th.
  • D’Andre Swift ranked 47th out of 47 qualified running backs in rushing yards over expected per attempt, per NextGenStats.
  • 26.9% of offensive sets of downs led to a third-and-long situation (seven or more yards), ranked 31st.
  • Generated pressure in 2.5 seconds or less on 20.3% of opponent dropbacks, ranked 24th.
  • Allowed 8.4 yards per attempt when in man coverage, ranked 30th.
  • Allowed 51.4% completion rate on throws 10 or more yards downfield, ranked 28th.
  • Allowed 10 or more yards on 13.1% of carries by running backs, ranked 30th.

It’s because this draft sucks for high end prospects. It is deep with good players though. This is where your front office should earn its money, find the great ones and accumulate picks.

George probably wants some wins. Most people seem to know you need good trench play to win in the NFL. You obviously have not figured that out.
It’s the fundamentals of building a team. Don’t build them and you’re closer to that 0-16 lions team vs a playoff team. But hey the madden players want more shiny new toys even if it results in another 4 win year

Probably somewhere between Bijan and Gibbs but this draft is shallower on top so could easily be gone by 10.
