I think he’s a LT personally, and prob top 2 this draft….i just don’t think any of the LT prospects are going to be elite in the NFL….see him more as top 15ish/league average
So we are taking a guy at #10 who is basically braxton jones. Good to know.
Quick question for the room...
Why is no one talking about the two most interesting tidbits I found out about recently in the "Beast"?
#1 Will Cambell has had a ton of flags over the last couple of seasons: 14 flags with 7 false starts.
#2 Ashton Jeanty has had a lot of fumbles: 5 last season (one called back for penalty) and 9 in the last two seasons.
We probably won't hear about them at all until right after the Bears draft one of them I'm sure.
Most people know about #2 but dont mention it.
Its always been an issue of his, but a lot of it is because he has great "contact balance". As in he's not going down but then guys are trying to strip the ball.
I dont think it will be as much of an issue in the NFL because he's not going to have the same contact balance/broken tackle plays in the nfl.
Still not a fan of taking him at #10 but i wont cry if it happens. Likely the difference between him vs. a 2nd round RB in this class behind the bears OL is not that large.
