Thinks so? They have the offense IMO, but their focus early against France was alarming

I'm totally fascinated by the Woman's Soccer play either in World Cup or Olympic competition. Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I enjoyed our come from behind victory of France, of course, I have no clue why we should have been playing from behind, which has me worried. Against the Japan team or the Brazil team our D will really be exposed. Mid field aside from Megan looked mediocre at best. Passing wasn't sharp, Foxx going out might not have helped but from a setting up the strikers stand point they were Meh. Lloyd's foot being the other exception on her blast from outside the box.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see us vs. one of the power teams later on.

On NBC during half time coverage, the hosts were predicting Japan to win gold and they said something like this "hopefully the US will still medal, but Japan is to strong to beat for gold" :obama:

Did they really? I know we lost one of our primary defenders from the World Cup team to an ACL... Kruetz? I think was her name? Something like that... And she was important but our Offense with Morgan now starting is way ahead of the World Cup team with Rodriguez starting. I just don't know what to think.

Woman looked much better today, but Megan Rapinoe was at it again, another assist and a goal. She's got some mad skilz. I also thought Lloyd had a great game today, one of the best I've seen her play as a mid fielder. She was making all the proper moves in the middle, swapping the field of play, holding the ball, passing it, outstanding game for her, didn't miss Foxx at all.
