Big day today.

Hawks are currently sitting in the 6th seed. If they beat Detroit in REGULATION, they get the 5 & face Nashville.

If they lose to Detroit, they lock up the 6. They'll then either play LA, Phoenix or SJ (whoever wins the Pacific).

--Phoenix plays Minnesota.
--LA and San Jose play each other.

Unfortunately for us, we won't know who Chicago will be playing until after midnight tonight (unless they beat DET in regulation)...

Who would you rather have the Blackhawks face in the 1st round?

Isn't the Sharks the team that always seems to choke come playoff time? Let's get them

Any of the possible four teams aren't great options for the Hawks. Bad records this year against Kings and Yotes. Preds always give us trouble.

Best choice would honestly be the Sharks, but that probably won't happen.

Yeah, Sharks isn't likely unless the Yotes blow their game against the Wild. Between Yotes and Preds, I'd take the Yotes.

I'd rather the Hawks play SJ or LA even though Phoenix usually stops playing once they know the paychecks will stop coming in.

Sucks, after the Minnesota game, I was resigned to getting Nashville in the 1st round.

Would have been really nice to knock them off and really ruin that team.

Hope Detroit can do it.
