With the offseason officially starting after the next loss, at least for me, what do you all got going on to keep you busy, and please don't say kids or work, that applies to a lot of us, including me, but you still gotta look out for number 1.

Here's my off season plan.

1. Convert shed to woodshop.
2. Build breakfast nook for the wife.
3. Build bar for me.
4. Become even more awesome at drums than I already am.

What you got?

My hobbies are usually doing some sort of small woodworking project (last year I built a bag boards).

Biking the bike paths (though I don't do that in the winter)

Then there's other sports like basketball.

Does planning the genocide of the entire pigeon race count as a hobby?

Heat rises?

Idk...my room feels like 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house during summer. Part of it is the positioning of the room relative to the sun, but it's kind of ridiculous.

Heat rises. Its really hard to keep the downstairs warm with vaulted ceilings.

You're in a townhouse, you can probably shut off the vent valve to the upstairs on your furnace (or mostly close it) and then most of the heat will only come out downstairs...then it will naturally rise.

Yeah they usually say close that in the winter then reverse it in the summer.

Suffice to say, one day last year I opened mine up all the way to the upstairs and I woke up in the morning in a sweat and my room was 90 degrees. The furnace had been running all night... and then I had $207 bill for the month. Ooops.

I plan to rub my dong on stuff, play some video games, and probably poop a lot. Oh, learn some more Chopin or something. Did I mention rub my dong on stuff?

Where is this valve for you? It must be at some sort of junction where the vents fork off right?

Volunteer work. This time of year, a lot of folk are extra needy, and need all the help they can get.

That lever needs to be flipped on the air duct that goes upstairs. (assuming your furnace is downstairs).

Fish, fish and more fish. I'm a huge fisherman and fish every day I can. Ice fishing season is about to start soon so that usually keeps me occupied through the winter. Makes winter go by faster also.
