I got the Yellow Light Of Death Saturday night. It is sad. I had that PS3 since the day they came out. 60 gig fat boy. 11/6/2006 I believe. It would have been $150 to send it in to Sony and get it fixed. Or they offered the new 120 gig slim system for only $99.

I took the slim. The only thing I will miss is the 4 USB slots. I don't use the backwards compatibly anymore, since I have a fully stocked ps3 selection now.

Hopefully this cuts down on the 2-3 week fix time. And I better get my damn copy of NHL '11 back.
