O'Hare Airport pick up help?

So I gotta pick my Dad up from O'Hare tonight at 6, and he keeps telling me it's really confusing and I might end up fucking up and going the wrong way and such once I'm at the airport. If I'm just picking him up, is there a cell phone lot or something I can wait in? Is it really that confusing?

Go early, circle around once through baggage claim to get your bearings. Pay attention to the letter designations for each terminal's baggage claim. When you circle back then go ahead and park in the cell phone lot and wait for his call to come get him. Ask him which letter he is standing by and then go get his ass.


Dont tell him you arrived 30 mins early though... Just say " I understand how this could confuse the elderly" or some shit like that.


Ohare is big and confusing the first time but once you get the lay of the land its ok.

I can see that. Explaining O'Hare or any other major airport's arrival spots are very easy to navigate, other than crazy taxi drivers. Once you see it, everything makes sense.

he had to catch a different flight because he was flying standby, so i gotta pick him up at 11:40. He's been sitting at an airport all day for Father's day, sucks. I'll bring his gift with so he can look forward to something lol. Also went over to his house and mowed his lawn yesterday as another gift lol.

Well I ended up in the rent a car lot when trying to find the cell lot. There signs have no arrows. But I quickly got out of there and just chilled at terminal 2A. He ended up at like 1D so he just walked down.
