Back in the late 60s and early 70s the coolest band around was Sly and the Family Stone. One of the originators of funk they spawned groups like Parliament Funk and Prince. Unfortunaly, Sly only had about a 6 year run before he drugged out and eventually living on the street for years.

In 1970 they decided to do a free concert in Chicago with about 60,000 people. Sly being a nutjob cancelled the concert and it turned into a race riot and 160 people were hurt.

The guy on the far right looks like a comedian I can't think of right now.
