Saw Social Distortion and Flogging Molly at The Greek in Berkeley a few nights ago, still sore AF and have cuts all over my back from spills in the pit, skin on asphalt tends to get a bit torn up.
Show was great tho! Social D held up well. Saw Flogging Molly for the 13th time.
And of course, went back to Berkeley the following night and sat in the mist to watch the unwashed football team from Tempe AZ take down the Bears.

I'll give them credit for this: the coeds and party life in Tempe are nearly unparalleled. Football team is slightly above average.
Anyway, my crew and I drowned our sorrows at our old haunt (McNally's) just off campus after inhaling grilled hot links at Top Dog, just like we did 30+ years ago.

That is awesome. I have not seen Social D in forever now, but I did see Mike Ness touring behind that solo acoustic album he dropped almost ten years ago. Small venue too...so it was a great show.
Some people grow into their bodies, but it feels like Mike Ness grew into that voice. Like a punk rock Tom Waits.
