One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

I just watched this movie for the first time the other day, and wow it was fantastic. I never watched any of Jack Nicholson's early movies but maybe I should, he was great. The ending was pretty sad IMO and the Chief being aware of everything and faking it mindfucked me at first.

Anyone else like this movie?

Also if you know of any other classics like this that I should watch, let me know. Thanks.

Cuckoo's Nest would make my top five movies of all time and Jack's best role ever.

Much like Pacino...go back to Nicholson's work in the 70's.

"Chinatown" is mandatory viewing.

"The Last Detail" is awesome and so is "The Missouri Breaks" with Marlon Brando.

I really liked that movie. Young Randy Quaid. I'll add Five Easy Pieces to the list.

I've probably seen all of Pacino's films from the 70s-80s. He's my favorite actor of all time. and thanks for the suggestions!

Love 70s flix. Any of jacks are good, liked the French connection, taxi driver and Serpico as well.

Loved One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

These aren't as old, but a couple other good ones are Usual Suspects, Fargo and The Game (Sean Penn).

Yep. Great movie. Hard to imagine why someone wouldn't like it.

I love Sean Penn, I'll check that out for sure. Bad Boys (1983) with him was great IMO.
