So let me guess, Time associates, "Person of the year" candidates both evil and good ? Roger has obviously made some huge errors in judgment this year. Strange, real strange.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Past winners of Time Magazines Man/Person Of The Year:

Adolf Hitler
Joseph Stalin (twice)
Ayatollah Khomeini

So it's not "Time Magazines Nice Guy Of The Year".

"for better or for worse...has done the most to influence the events of the year"
Roger would be in that team photo.

I would take Stalin over Goodell as NFL Comish.... Stalin would not put up with the fuckery the refs play at every week.... scratch that Stalin as head of Bears Football Operations.... Mel Tucker would have been purged long ago

we've seen cops commit murder and some on film and be let go without even a slap on risk and in some cases richer than they ever were before because of it and you are shocked by this only in Murica' moment?

Cops killing people wrongly = We should not discuss Goodell being picked as Man of the Year.... seems legit

You should create a garbage bin thread in B&I where you dump posts that unnecessarily B&I a normal thread.

Pretty much this ^. They basically assess this by "most influential," not by any sort of positive contribution to humanity. Here is the list of past winners in case anyone is curious.

1982 - The Computer

It was bad enough they picked Person of the year to be groups of people, but The Computer?

"Hey buddy, computers are people too!"

:speechless:
