Kentucky is the only place I've ever heard somebody manage to say the word y'all 3 times in a single sentence.

After living in Kentucky for most of my life, nothing surprises me about this state anymore. Can't wait to move back to Chicago. Lol

Perhaps it was the time of year, or the weather being lousy...but driving through Kentucky(and I've done it 5 times)was something to get out of the way.

Southern Ohio is nice, Tennessee is nice...yet somehow Kentucky wound up in-between.

I'm from Northern Kentucky and we don't like to associate ourselves with southern Ky. We claim Ohio as our home state.

Yea I know haha. I do feel though that I have to apologize and immediately explain myself when I say I'm from KY...

I tried to date a few girls in Kentucky, but it never worked out. Apparently their parents were made because we weren't related. :dunno:

We were actually in Kentucky once for a vacation. We stayed in a Jellystone campground that had a couple of water slides. We saw a few underground caves, checked out the Louisville Slugger Museum and also visited the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and took the tour of the plant. I did have one complaint though.

When we toured the Budweiser factory in St. Louis, we got free beer at the end.
When we toured the Louisville Slugger factory, we got a free mini-bat at the end.
When we toured the Corvette factory, we didn't get anything.

Like Texas, love being able to see the night sky. Growing up, with the multitude of street lights, that opportunity wasnt an option. Despite my loathing of Ky for multiple reasons, being in the country has its perks, just like living in a city. I miss the museums Chicago has to offer, Brookfield Zoo, and I seriously regret not being old enough back then to experience all the food places, I want a damn gyro!! I <3 food :) But I perfer not stopping every block to a stop sign. Love my speed :)
