Only way to beat GB is for Pagano to find a way to dial up the pressure, tag Rodgers a few times and make him change into his ballet slippers. The D playing to try and slow down GB is worthless. Let them have a big play or 2 but keep coming.

Also, got to beat the Refs. The nut hugging the refs have for Erin and the fpackers is silly. That offsides on the blocked field goal was beyond horrible. The first positive thing for the Titans and gets brought back. Don't sneeze on Rodgers or might get a RTP penalty!!! GO BEARS!!

The only way to win this game is to consistently pressure Rodgers on defense and run the ball and control the clock on offense. The Bears have to score TDs in the red zone not field goals and they have to win the turnover battle.

The bend and break approach Pagano deployed in Green Bay will get them annihilated again.

They also need to lose the little brother mentality they bring into these games. Teams that beat the Packers blitz and hit Rodgers and run the ball down the throats of their defense. Pettine loves to play 6 DBs. Make him adapt. Run into 6 DBs and throw when he adjusts.

The undermanned Panthers went after Rodgers and gave the Packers a real game. They just didn’t care that they were playing Aaron Rodgers. The Bears looked like they wanted his autograph in GB.

It will take an almost perfect effort in all three phases to win.

Heh, you can run that list for every game.

One thing of note the packers tend to get off to a hot start early and get teams to become one dimensional. If the game is within 1 td at the half, Bears win.

Looks like the Bears will have to win next week because they just reported Goff might have broken his thumb and may be out next week.....so here is what the Bears have to do to beat Gb.

- GBs weakness is their run D..... have to run the ball early and often and keep Rodgers on bench and keep it a close ball control game that you hope you can win in the 4th quarter.....we saw Monty pull off a big run last game....need more of those

- Use Mitch’s legs and let him run on RPOs if the D is gravitating towards Monty when faking the hand off .... to prove my point Tannehill just did that....faked to Henry and was wide open to run it into end zone..

- if we do both of the above well, it will limit the number of times Mitch has to throw in pressure situations that lead to turnovers

- On D, have to prevent them to field goals..... hope Johnson CB is back for this one we need everyone on D

- go for some fake punts to manufacture points ..... again keep ball away from Rodgers .... extend drives with a fake punt and keep the ball/time of possession in your favor

- finally win the turnover battle but we all know Rodgers just does not turn it over ....that OL is the best in the league ....so have to get creative with blitzes and rattle him so we can get a turnover or two
No to the fake punts. Trickery only will hurt us, especially against the packers

RTP penalties are not the worst thing if they’re early in the game and they send a message...

96 ain't the same player he once was before his injuries and that's a huge effect on the defense. You add Paganos playcalling on top of that and I think Mitch is going to have to win in a shootout.

Assuming our offense continues to be productive, as it has been since Trubs unbenching and real OC calling games - this one will come down to our Defense, which IMO has been underperforming of late. We need JJ back, and we need a way to get to Rodgers and make sure he is not comfortable passing the ball. I dont believe a 4 man rush gets that done, so we will need to blitz and get creative by how we are blitzing. If Pagano allows Rodgers to be comfortable in the pocket, we have no chance.

With that said, I know Packers are a better team and they have had a great season, but we have beaten them before and we can do it again, especially since this one really counts. I dont like the defeatist attitudes towards this game, thats for cowards. I would not be surprised whatsoever if we win next week straight up, punching our own ticket to the playoffs.

There are lousy teams that really don’t require you to check off those boxes.

For example, Glennon was happy to throw the ball to the Bears from a clean pocket.

I can see Roquan playing a significant role in this game...one way or the other.

If he's able to get into 12's throwing lanes and cause an instant of hesitation, we could see some opportunity to disrupt routes and maybe touch him a little in the pocket/backfield.

Also, if 58 can get up into the GB running backs and tight end's faces, key stops or even turnovers could result.

I really like the way he is playing right now, and I hope the coaches see this and let him cook...Bears style.

Screw Rodgers........If the refs are going to throw those ticky tack non existent roughing calls the Bears should just make sure and nail him good. Pile drive him. If you are going to get a flag thrown because of breathing on poor Erin then just beat the shit out of him and take your penalty.

I've argued this a few times.... but in the end....sportsmanship and Ginny prefers good boys.

TBH you don't specifically need to injure Rodgers, just shake him up enough.... rattle him.

Get his OLine and him pissed off, take them mentally out of their zen of "The Bears lol we always beat them."

But you actually have to hit him and hit him hard as fuck.... one of those hits that even if clean, the refs throw a flag.

He's taking a TD from us on the first drive regardless, just shake him up early and hope you can slow him down.

The offsides call ended up helping them lol. They got the ball back, scored a TD with no time left in the half.

Way to ignore the free play we had taken from us, or the clear defensive holding on Tonyan in and going toward the endzone.
