Dear Fans,
We sincerely apologize for the performance of the team up until this point in the season. We are just embarrassed as you are. While we await our petition from the Commissioner's Office to forfeit the remainder of the season, we will be playing remaining games with bags on our heads. (Not that our play hasn't seemed like we were doing that already). We will look to move as many pieces out as we can in hopes of a full out rebuild. We could tell you that our goal is to win the World Series next year, but that lie only works for the boys up north. We are going to take the novel approach by being truthful and tell you we're bad and will be for several years to come.
Until we know a direction, the 2014 season looks to be a drive for the #1 pick instead of the #1 seed in the AL. Full out refunds for games already played in 2013 are available in hopes that someday you may return once we look like a major league club again. Please contact your sales representative or stop by the box office during regular business hours for asssitance.
Thank you for your past support even though often it was undeserved.
