Opposing players you hate the most?

Watching Game 3 of the Vancouver series made me think about this.

For me:

1) Torres
2) Pronger
3) Clutterbuck
4) Luongo
5) Burrows
6) Ovechkin
7) the Sedins
8) Avery, but there are some things I kinda like about him - weird
9) Robidas because he's a puss
10) Setoguchi - he's just always bugged me
11) Peckham
12) Ott

I have to admit, prior to this offseason, Carcillo was up there for me too. :-O

Who did I forget who is a total douchebag?

Good call on Pronger and Ott. All of Vancouver is also an acceptable answer. That's just a whole culture of assholes. I dislike Thomas Holmstrom. He's nothing but a pest who is very fortunate to have played in the era he did (on a really good team).

Beyond that, I can't think of any players I actually hate. Things tend to get sorted out on the ice. Winning (whether its a game/series/cup) and the occasional beat down really do a lot for me in eliminating grudges against players. Vancouver excluded of course. They're actually fun to hate no matter how many times I see them get beat.

Oh, I should probably add Alexi Yashin seeing as how I dumped on him in a previous thread. He's just a disgrace.

Dude... have you noticed that the Canadian broadcast cuts out the Hawk's goal song every time the Hawks score? I just noticed it. Everytime they score, they alter the audio feed to completely drown out the song.

Saw Hawks vs Blue Jackets in 2010 in Columbus. Hawks scored and the song right after was Chelsea's Dagger. Hawks fans went nuts. Dude next to me asked what was up and when I told him, he said "we can't even get the F%^kin songs right." LOL

Dino Ciccarelli, Willi Plett, Harold Snepsts, and Denis Potvin (but only as a colour-commentator ... I had early Centre Ice -back in the 90's and Suter labelled a Florida guy messing with the goalie .... with Directv you got the feed that they gave you -which invariably was never the Chicago feed -even when the Hawks were on the road... well, Potvin starts Homer-Raging about "Why Suter would have done that - couldn't understand it... blah blah blah? ?!?! -and I was like, -um, dude- you are a HoF defenceman and can't work out that the forward hacking at the goalie gets knocked on his butt by the defenceman ... Ok, aside from being a lying sack of fecal matter -for your non-hockey following audience... yeh - that is what hockey needed - more uneducated fans - congrats Potvin. Considering that had I gotten the Chicago feed with Foley and Tallon I never would have known this -- I think you can also add Directv and Centre Ice to the list too. Lol.

Ok, Billy Smith too -- he was a certifiable jerk.

I'm also not too enamoured of Mr Crosby (diving, and penalty soliciting whining)- but considering his health issues will give him a pass.
