You're right-on, unfortunately for the oldest conference. All about the money and no media deal other than maybe anPretty much the death knell for the Pac-10. With Colorado moving back to the Big 12, I wouldn't be shocked if Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah also leave for the Big 12.
I could tell as a UM fan that if FSU could do it, they would've done it. We're all royally fucked with the ACC.Wouldn't shock me if FSU jumped ship soon too. They're seeking out private equity money to get out of the ACC deal to change conferences and I think the Big 10 is more likely than the SEC despite the SEC being a significantly better geographical fit.
Or the Big 12…Wazzou and Oregon State will probably end up in the Mountain West. Cal and Stanford will eventually join the Big10, imo.
I say Big 10 because of the academics.Or the Big 12…
That’s a good call.I say Big 10 because of the academics.
It's also why I'd keep an eye on schools like Duke, UVA, Miami, and maybe either Pitt or Boston College with whatever happens with the ACC.That’s a good call.
