[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9YhDl2u-as]Kobe Bryant Interview: Allen Iverson Would Be the Perfect Fit - YouTube[/ame]

I wonder what the source is but if this happens I´m gonna jump up and down!

I wish AI to the Bulls but I would be very happy to see him at least in the NBA again!

That would be fun to watch for sure.
I wonder if he would be playing for the veterans minimum...If so, the Bulls should make a go at him.

Interesting. I would dig that. But like you said just to see AI back in the league would be awesome! Same with Marbury but he has said he doesn't even want to come back to the NBA...

Iverson would help the Lakers but he's not "the answer" anymore. He depended on his athleticism to play solid defense and now that is gone. He's probably like a poor man's Shannon Brown at this point with better PG skills (not that he is anywhere close to being an ideal PG).

  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
idk why anyone would be happy to have AI on their team at this point in his career.

AI never fell off as bad as the media tried to make it seem. As long as David Stern stops trying to blackball him, he should be able to end his career on an NBA team.

got any proof of that??? Stern blackballing Iverson was some time ago. Iverson was out of the league because he couldn't accept the roles given him by the organizations he played for. That is not Stern's fault, that is Iverson's fault.

Iverson said for numerous years that he is willing to play any role for any NBA team. So this stuff you speak of him not accepting roles is 100% false.

Everyone knows David Stern doesn't like what he calls the "Hip Hop Culture" in the NBA. He feels Iverson spear headed that into the league and he has been trying to get it out since. He banned his rap album back in 2000, he banned his crossover after he yanked Mike. David and AI never saw eye to eye.

Here is some "proof"

As much as I loved Iverson, the reason he didn't play in the NBA last year had nothing to do with David Stern.

It was because 30 teams thought Iverson was a risky signing because of his attitude. You can agree or disagree with whether or not that is justified fears. But that is why nobody signed him.

I agree with you Rami on this one....Iverson is one of my favorites, but after the way he played in his return to Phillie, you could tell he was pretty much done.....he is still however servicable, and could help a team as much as hurt a team at this point....But then again, the Lakers would be a good fit for him...they are a veteran team...

Iverson messed up with his second chance in Philly and with the Grizzlies. I hope if he comes back then he gets his stuff together this time. I hope a contender picks him up so he can win a ring,I still hope he can get one and a team picks him up.

Then the Lakers would be a good fit for him...I could see him and Kobe getting along, especially if Iverson wants the ring he's been craving since day 1......The Bulls are a contender, but the Bulls would not be a good fit for A.I.........ROSE AND AI WOULD NOT FIT...THEY BOTH DEMAND THE BALL AND PLAY THE POINT GUARD POSITION....I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LOCKOUT ENDS SO I CAN SEE HOW THE IVERSON SOAP OPERA UNFOLDS...

I don't think so...Iverson stayed in the league, won MVP and made lots of money until his skills eroded. In Detroit, he may have fed a lot of lip service to the press, but he made it very hard on the coaching staff...he wanted to start. He was the last to accept that his glory days were over.

Well to me in Detroit he had a lot of game left. Detroit was just in the beginning stages of the mess they are in now in my opinion.

He has accepted that, it's the media that keeps portraying Iverson as a somebody who wants to start. He has stated since last summer that he wants a chance to play any role on any team. His own peers are wondering why he hasn't gotten signed...to me that speaks volumes.

It shouldn't speak to anything other than Iverson's eroding abilities and his unwillingness to accept a lesser role in the past when offered.

He said the same thing in Detroit, in Memphis...talk is cheap.

He said the same thing in Philly as well and lived up to it.....His most recent team.

I thought he didn't get fair treatment when he was at Philly, hope he gets his fair shot some day. He deserves a ring imo. Though he doesn't match with the Bulls it would have been cool to have A.I.
