Was playing low A ball at the time of the trade. I knew he'd be good because of an awesome last name.

Too bad he hit the DL at the end of June. 5-1 so far on the year.

Randy Wells' first season, he won 12 games and had a 3.05 era.
Rodrigo Lopez won 15 games and had an era around 3.5 his first season...

It's not how you start, it's sustaining.

While he is not without value, I am not certain that I am going to lose sleep over a very good reliever. He also walks a ton of guys as well.

And really if we want talk about franchises kicking themselves, how do the Rockies feel since they granted the guy free agency and let him walk for nothing. We at least got a solid bench guy that can play multiple spots (1B, 2B, 3B, corner OF spots) that mashes lefties for him.
