No terms yet but supposedly he's getting 4.5 mil.

If true, that's massive overpayment.

He rode his great playoff run into a huge contract. I am glad that the Canucks resigned him, there were rumors of him going to the Red Wings and that would have pissed me off.

Ive heard that Ehroff wants and is going to get in the same are as Bieksa

He's coming off a strong year... someone might hook him up.

All I know is that Bieksa's deal makes me feel great about Seaborook's deal. I liked that signing when it happened. I love it now.

"I'm not a money guy," Bieksa told the Sun after the finals. "I think everyone knows that. ... I know about money, I understand its value and everything, but it's not my main priority.

"I think everybody takes less to play here. It's such a great organization that you want to be here, so if you want to be here you have to take less, that's just the culture. It's like Detroit. If you want to win, you have to take less to be here. Again, without making my agent's job too tough, I'm optimistic."

That's it. Bring back Eager just so he can kick the shit out of this tool box again.

Seriously.

The Canucks just set $4.5 mil as the market value on NHL cowards. Someone said bring back Eager to kick his ass again....won't happen as the only guys Bieksa will fight are finesse players like Marleau.

No Mas, No Mas.....please don't hit me, Mr. Scott

I havent seen that sequence in awhile. I forgot that Eager kept body slamming the Bieksa, the hair pulling by Girlieman Burrows is what stole the show there. I cant say enough on how glad I am that Vanocouver choked away the Cup....still puts a grin on my face. :)

Absolutely.

That was a good day. Watching Tiger win on the last hole at Bay Hill and then coming back to my seat to see the Canucks get their shit pushed in by the Hawks.

Definitely one of the more entertaining games I've been to in the last few years.

It's simply glorious, isn't it? Those are easily two of my favorite hockey moments ever.
